Supporting Parents of Bilingual Children
Supporting your child's home language development is really important alongside developing their English.
Please continue to use your home language with your child, teach them new words in their home language and encourage them to see the value of being bilingual.
You can help your child to learn English by talking to them about their day at school, watching TV or doing family activities together. It won't harm your child to hear English and your home language used side by side.
